Request path: Reserved.ReportViewerWebControl.axd
Type: Microsoft.Reporting.WebForms.HttpHandler
Name: Reserved-ReportViewerWebControl-axd

Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine. Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a tag within a “web.config” configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This tag should then have its “mode” attribute set to “Off”.

The above error actually means the custom error settings in the web.config file is preventing the actual application error being displayed in the browser . It is showing a custom error page “mycustompage.htm” set in the IIS settings of the website.

To see the actual error your website is showing you need to browse the website on the server locally on which it is running .

To see the  actual error on the remote browser edit the web.config file find <system.web> and just below it add <customErrors mode=”Off”/> so that it  looks like

<customErrors mode=”Off”/>

Note that the O of Off is capital O .

Thats it now you can proceed with solving the actual error .
